Borrowing of reading materials facility is available to the faculty, researchers, students and staff of the Institute. The registration to use the library facility and services is automatic for the faculty and staff on joining the Institute and for students on registration for the academic programs. The rules are framed to facilitate and promote, rather than to constrain, the use of library collection and services.
The faculty members, staff & students of the Institute are required to enroll as members of the Library (upon joining the Institute) by filling in the membership form available at the library circulation desk (along with a passport size photograph). This entitles the use of resources & services offered for the purpose of academic and research work.
2. Smart Card :
After confirmation of library membership every member will get a Smart Card, Membership cards are non-transferable in nature which is valid for the duration of the academic session for which issued. It is necessary to notify the library if your membership card is damaged, loss or another reason. Rs. 100/- will be charged for issuing duplicate smart card. Being a library member The Library owns the Smart Card, which must be returned along with any outstanding fees and cleared before receiving a No Dues Certificate.
3. Borrowing Privileges
Faculty (Regular) - 10 Books For one semester
Faculty (Contractual) - 6 Books for 15 days
Research Scholars - 4 Books for 15 days
Students ( PG ,UG) - 2 Books for 15 days
Administrative Staff - 2 Books for 15 days
4. issue and return timing is as follows
Library Hours (Monday - Saturday) 9:00 am – 5:30 pm
Issue & Return 9:00 am – 5:30 pm
5. Late Fee
- Rs. 0.50. per day (First-7 days)
